Meaning you don't like going above and beyond to complete your job quickly and effictiently, but you like working at a pace to the point where you can can your job done in the time span of your shift, with the occasional day or period of time when you must hurry or hussle to get your work done.

Hell, sometimes you can work at your own pace and it could appear to others that you're busting you ass even though you're just simply taking your time. At one point while working a previous job, that was pretty much how I was.

But right now I work at a fast food restaraunt, and while working front counter I can work st my own place. Im foing to have to start working drive thru and I'm not really looking forward to it because I just hate being exhausted at the end of a shift. :/

How is working front counter at your own pace? You have to take customers when they come up...

Also of course people like to work at their own pace, why wouldn't they? That's what "own pace" means...

Except my pace is faster than my job requires so I'm looking for things to do.

I work the night shift, so instead of doing front counter a lot Ill just be cleaning and stocking stuff. It takes about 3-5 hours to do, so I just take my time doing it.

I like working at my own pace, but I don't like when other people expect me to work their pace (which is usually slower and involves a lot of "explain this to me").
