God is real and we should not deny his existence and mercy 37.5% (3 votes) 3 No. this was just a miracle 62.5% (5 votes) 5 19 y/o Charles Quimby from Maine was shot in the HEAD by a BB gun and made a miraculous recovery less than an hour after a PRIEST read him his last rites as Doctors said he wouldn't survive..and now the Christian Family are saying that GOD saved their son and that the prayers of the holy lord is REAL!! Doctors told the family that their son wouldn't survive after a BB pierced his brain when he was shot in the head by a friend...they asked for a priest to come in Bangor to give him his last rites but less than an hour after that reading, he responded to dcotors. His mother, Lauri said "I'm telling you, it was right after the priest did his thing. I believe that kind of played into it" He was shot in the head by his 20 y/o firend, William McCarty as police said he called them after shooting him in the head..authorities are still investigating on what happened and executed a search warrant to collect the gun but no charges are laid Jake Goodridge, Charles father said that he doesn't know the facts but was told it was an "accident" The recovery shocked doctors who said he sat up and said "hello" and was able to respond to commands just an hour after the last ries were read. His ventilator was removed and he remained in stable condition But his mother is far less surprised who said "i know my son, he's really storng. It just wasn't meant to be that he'd die. You know when you can feel it? God was listening. I'm a true believer in his miracles" His road to recovery will be long as doctors don't kno the full extent of his injuries as they wait for his swelling in the brain to go down. The BB in his brain will likely NEVER be removed because surgery is too dangerous and could cause lasting brain damage. It will impair his balance and coordination for the rest of his life but his family is hopeful he will be better. Do you believe God was at work here?
