At least not without touching the formula

Played a few matches earlier today and the meta was just explosives everywhere and the occasional time I died from a bullet was a quick scope

Fuck the nostalgia, if they're gonna do this they need to make Blast Shield a proper perk and not a shitty gadget

MW2 is the only CoD to not get a proper balance patch either so nows a good time as ever

Other than that it was aight though

TTK was way too high though

Might be the USP because the M9 has hella recoil

I always used the .44 Magnum though because the recoil in it is purely visual

M9 was so underappreciated

Did you know that due to a glitch the silence is literally useless on the M9

- make it so if you pick One Man Army as your first perk, you cant add an under-barell attachment. This would be similar to how if you had a grenade launcher as your attachment in MW, you couldn't have a blue perk

- make blast shield a red perk and have it replace danger close.

- remove aim assist for snipers or nerf the ADS time when using Sleight of Hand with a sniper.

- lower the damage for the UMP but keep its rate of fire the same.

- increase the reload time for the AUG, Famas, and M16 (this is to help balance the 3RB guns since its a 2 shot kill if your aim is really good.

- remove death streaks and make painkiller a red perk.

- Marathon just doubles sprint time, not unlimited anymore.

i think those would be fine without ruining too much of the gameplay.

Only lower the damage on the UMP enough so that you actually need Stopping Power to 3 shot with a silencer at a decent range. Everything else is fine.

Im aware of that, I just didnt explain in further detail why like i did for the famas and M16. The AUG was essentially an AR in the LMG class. I would either change its class or make it more like an LMG by increasing the reload time. Its iron sights, rate of fire, quick reload, and damage output out classes the RPD and M249 and made them very niche guns to use. I know the M60 had explosive rounds instead of FMJ (at least I think they did, its been a while since I've played) but hardly anybody used it since the AUG was just that good.

Funny enough the AUG is in fact an assault rifle in the campaign but they made it an LMG in the multiplayer for some reason

I ran the UMP almost exclusively because of its sheer versatility. i wouldnt be opposed to lowering its range or damage, but something for sure needs to be tweaked.

My thing with deathstreaks is that they reward poor play. painkiller is a pain in the ass but if it were a perk (juggernaut) it would counter most people who use SP. Juiced was just extra speed like Lightweight and Final Stand was a joke.

Thats the point of the UMP. It works well in nearly every situation, but its never the best choice for any one situation. It just needs its damage/ranges tweaked so it is actually hurt by using a silencer without stopping power, instead of Stopping Power doing nothing on a silenced UMP
