Like the last 6 fights have been against all normal OU pokemon teams. I'm just fucking around in this tier cuz I wanna play with Mega Rayquaza >_>

And then I get a message like this lol


Idk what he expects >_> Play in OU if you want to fight with normal pokes, nerd!

So uh, am I missing some unwritten rule about Anything Goes tier? Cuz I literally just want to clash with some Mega Rayquazas lol

Pokemon battle simulator. I play it on my phone all the time. It's way faster and easier than playing it legit on 3ds >_>

I just did the chat screen, you can change to the battle screen. It actually looks pretty good for what it is.

There are troll tactics that are much better than Legendaries that are banned in regular play for a reason.

Literally use every pokemon with fucking spore and put the entire other team to sleep lmao.

Or make half your team Air Slash Togekiss. Every attack has a 60% chance of making the enemy flinch. If you are lucky, you can flinch lock half their team with a single Togekiss.

Or use Perish Song Mega Gengar, where the enemy can not escape, but you can. So you can swap out last second and get a free KO.

Here's a pic of the battle screen if you're curious. It's more fun to battle through this than real pokemon just cuz of all the quality of life stuff they put in the hud

Funbro is the only thing actually banned from Anything Goes though. For obvious reasons. That will always be amusing to me.

Is showdown easy to play on a phone?

I tried it once and it was janky, but that was a while back and the internet might have been a problem.

Because sleep clause is a thing in Showdown, except in AG. Sleep is the most devastating status condition outside of freeze, but atm there's no reliable way to freeze the opponent.

Back in 4th gen right? Only his mega stone is ubers currently. He's actually not even UU I think. He's UU BL which means he didn't make the cut for UU but banned from RU

No you remember correctly, that's exactly how it was until Garchomp was sent to ubers.

Then gen 4 became the best competitive gen.

No you remember correctly, that's exactly how it was until Garchomp was sent to ubers.

Then gen 4 became the best competitive gen.

Although now it's Land-T.

I also had the most fun with gen4, felt like it had the right mix of freedom to do weird stuff but also predictability to not just lose to weird things from the moment the game starts

I remember back in 2011, I was playing the battle sim Pokemon Online and it was literally just 2 static sprites with text only for every move. Now every pokemon is a looping gif and pretty much every move and weather effect has an animation. It's really come a long way.

I have some fond memories of Pokmon Online. My friends and I would always go to a server called Pokestars Indonesia that was usually empty. One time we met and battled some guy named Kuzo who typed in Engrish. That was fun.
