I finally watched the first episode of Revue Starlight, and it was pretty amazing. Between the flashy sword fights, the yuri undertones, and the blatant Kanami/Hiyori expys, it'll definitely help me through my Toji No Miko withdrawals. They've been building to Hana having a mental breakdown for a couple of episodes now after George, who she trusted, was revealed as the true big boss behind Criasu. She's already starting to question a lot of what she thought before and whether George's ideals overlap with her own more than she thought. We could potentially see Punished Hana turn and the rest of the Precure girls try to befriend her back to the side of justice, and that would be freaking amazing. Jeff AKA Snoopy posted... I was a bit incredulous at first but I actually really liked the way they played it out. Although they did kind of back away from the ending with the prologue of "who knows... maybe Tsumugi was lying...?" thing with the epilogue. Her saying it's a perfect "copy" made me come up with a theory that V3 takes place in the far future where the Future Foundation won totally and as a result there's no war/despair etc and they hold these elaborate game show/tv shows that imitate the actual IRL DR events for entertainment. Just a quick theory I came up with. Anyway imagine if they never showed the epilogue and committed fully to the in-universe fictional world/characters thing. Then they decided to bring it into actual reality further and never made another DR game to show that fictional characters can actually impact IRL. It doesn't take anything away from any of them. And I agree. V3 is the absolute best in the series. Best cast. Best Trials. Best setting. Best twist. The island they're on has a unique disease known as "soot blight syndrome" that causes people physical pain when they come in contact with direct sunlight. Rinne had been deluding herself into thinking she had it for years, but actually didn't. When she imagined the ruckus going on outside (that first set of pics was her overactive imagination, by the way, not the guy's) with Setsuna and the other girls, she felt like she needed to see what was going on. The suit was a precaution against the sun, but eventually Setsuna convinced her out of it. She still never left the shade though, and stayed under the parasol the whole time. What actually happened on that beach was a lot more tame than the dream sequence.
