A black woman from Chicago said a CVS store manager called the cops on her for trying to use a coupon he didnt recognize.

The woman, Camilla Hudson, described the interaction in a Facebook post that was widely shared.

So, THIS just happened: I had the police called on me for attempting to use a coupon @ the CVS Pharmacy located at 6150 N. Broadway in Chicago! Hudson wrote.

Hudson wrote late Saturday that Facebook deleted the post because it "violated their policies."

Video of the incident captured by Hudson shows the CVS manager visibly shaken as he speaks with police. The manager identified himself as Morry Matson.

While on the phone with police, Matson describes Hudson as African-American, to which she responds, Black. No, Im not African-American, Im black. Black isnt a bad word.

Three officers responded to Matsons call, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, citing Hudsons post. She reportedly spoke with the officers before leaving the store.

A CVS spokesman said a regional director contacted Hudson as soon as the company became aware of the incident.

CVS has begun an investigation and we will take any corrective action that is warranted to prevent it from happening again, the spokesman said. CVS Pharmacy does not tolerate any practices that discriminate against any customer and we are committed to maintaining a welcoming and diverse environment in our stores.

Matson is reportedly involved in politics. He was a state delegate for Donald Trumps presidential campaign and is currently running for 48th Ward alderman. Matson is also president of the Log Cabin Republicans of Illinois, a GOP group that advocates for LGBT rights.

CVSs coupon debacle is the latest instance of a white person calling the cops on a black person under questionable pretenses.

In May, a Starbucks barista in Philadelphia called the police on two black men because they didnt buy anything. In Oakland that month, a white woman dubbed by social media as BBQ Becky" called the police on a black family that was barbecuing near a city lake.

And in San Francisco in June, a white woman dubbed Permit Patty called the police on a 8-year-old black girl selling lemonade because she supposedly didnt have a permit.

Now then. I know how CE is. "This CLEARLY isn't the entire story! She clearly did something besides this!"

Well... I've did some digging. As of right now, I haven't found a single article that tells the other side of the story and these articles has been out for several days. So you can't just say that she deserved it when you have no other info unless you find some I couldn't. If you do find some other info about this.. Feel free to post it.

Also, I know people on CE will say that she shouldn't have escalated the situation and deserves to be thrown out for that. Well... 1. We don't know if she did. You are just assuming that. 2. If you can assume that... I can assume that coupon she had was 100% valid. See how this works?
