I cannot believe they went with the absolute dirt worst option. I mean, I know if it were a triple threat it would just be Lashley and Brock doing the cool shit while Roman just occasionally runs in and punches people in the head like he always does, but at least we'd get something new out of Brock matches.

But instead they are going to try to sell us on Roman vs Brock again when Roman has done nothing but suck, fail, and whine ever since WrestleMania. This mother fucker didn't even want the title shot last week! He just strolled in while everyone else was talking about it!

Who can possibly care!? Any Roman fans that are somehow still here can't possibly care! How is this going to be an accomplishment for Roman to beat Brock when he's failed to beat him for going on four years now!?

Just... God. This is absurd. The crowd is going to tear this match apart like they always do to the impossibly dull Roman Reigns PPV matches, only this has a chance to be amongst the worst ones. Because people are so over this by now, even more than Mania.

We usually have a SummerSlam party but I don't even know if we will anymore because interest in WWE has been at an all time low amongst my friends, and not a single one of us cares about Roman at all. It's crazy they think this is what people want. Insanity.

I feel the same man. I am so far behind on everything else I watch that I don't watch NXT now and I don't even watch 205 Live anymore.

After Extreme Rules, I'm just so disappointed, and I just don't care about the product at all now with this Roman Reigns thing. It's incredible how much they have forced so many people into apathy with his push. If I want to watch a PPV, I'll just go to my one buddy's house. But man. This company is just doing nothing fun or interesting anymore. I can't think of a thing to be excited for.

They're even breaking up Rusev Day, an act we all just wanted to cheer for and hoped got turned to face and just got ignored and kept going on. I can't keep feeling like this fucking company actively refuses to give the audience what they want. I thought I'd be so excited for Daniel Bryan, but all we've gotten is fucking Big Cass from his return and Kane teaming with him again and then nothing. How did they fuck up Daniel Bryan coming back? I just can't care. This company cannot do anything right and refuses to just do things to entertain people. They couldn't do worse if they tried to at this point.

As far as Bryan goes, I honestly think that they didn't want him overshadowing Roman's coronation. People wanted Bryan years ago but Vince wanted the guy who makes him moist, so he pushed Roman instead. Now Bryan's back, and even if his contract wasn't an apparent issue, I think they'd be waiting to do anything with Bryan until after Roman's been given his crown. Even though they're on different shows (for now, Roman will be on SDL next year), people would still be talking about Bryan first and that's unacceptable.

Summerslam is in New York, I'm guessing the crowd there is going to shit on Roman/Brock pretty hard?

Yes. The only thing that matters is that Roman won the last round, and is the hero that saved Brock from taking the belt and going to UFC.

I'm still hoping for a Braun cashin on Roman right away, or the match getting shat on so badly that they pull the plug again, and Braun cashes in after, or on the following night since Brock is being advertised for Raw (even though he's been advertised dozens of times before and never been there). Guessing he won't be there next week either to help the whole "Roman is our hero because he shows up and Brock doesn't care so you need to cheer Roman" narrative.

I was about to say that they wouldn't squash Braun's first title run just to give the belt back to Roman and after the rematch he'd be away from the belt until at least Mania, but then I remembered that this is Roman.

The amount of operations I'm sure Mandy Rose has had is staggering.

I thought it was kind of interesting how they had Owens giving that emotional thing about his family, and was hoping they would start doing a slow turn where Braun goes from being fun loving monster face to heel that kills people, but I don't think that would work. That's what got people behind him in the first place.

Honestly I'm more interested in Roman vs Brock 1v1 than a triple threat which just seemed lazy. Brock vs Lashley 1v1 was the only potential match I legit would have liked to see. Roman vs Brock 1v1 again I have a morbid interest in just to see how far the crowd can bury it. Keep in mind they're both bad enough that Summerslam is avoid for me.

It is 100% the worse booking though, though not one I'd fully ruled out.

This whole thing worked so well for Austin and Bryan that the writers think that story is all you need to get someone over.

They don't understand that the character being screwed over has to be interesting, and the crowd has to be behind them. If they have a guy that nobody cares about repeating those same lines it won't work.

There's that whole thing about the how the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results. That's WWE's booking with Roman. They haven't given his character any significant change, but they keep expecting him to get cheered as the top babyface.

I think Roman could actually make an interesting cocky heel, since that role seems to fit him a lot more naturally, but they don't want to hold off his big face run for a year or two.

I actually watched a bit of raw yesterday and saw the Roman backstage interview.

If I hadn't been keeping up I would have thought they had already turned him heel. His interview was about how the fans should just shut up because what they think doesn't matter. How is he a face? That was like textbook heel.

I think one thing that's been overlooked in the fallout of another Roman/Brock snoozefest is how well Lashley sold his disappointment post match. He can't talk, but he was at least able to convey the devistation of missing out on the chance to face Lesnar.

Roman's character would be legitimately interesting to me if the presentation didn't treat the audience like idiots. Like it's such a weird character-- I'm not saying the announcers need to bury him for heelishness, you can be subtle about it, but don't tell me that he deserves a title match.

He's kinda a lot like Hulk Hogan in a lot of ways if Hulk Hogan didn't win all the time and if the audience liked him a lot less. On that note Corey Graves being Roman Reigns's Bobby Heenan would help so much I think. Just some acknowledgement that this character doesn't make sense, even if it's from the heel commentator, would help so much.
