I have watched the previews and stuff now and had one silly question about the game.

Will they still let you use a stone on your default partner like in a standard game or is it going to be like the anime where Pikachu refuses to have the Thunder Stone used on him?

I'm not sure if you can box your starter. I know they've said you can catch a wild Pikachu or Eevee that you can evolve.

I'm guessing they wanted it to mirror Pikachu's version, but it doesn't even follow the anime because Gary evolved his Eevee. Then again, he's not in the game, so......

The initial leak which was 100% true so far says Red and Blue are in the game too, and the rival is new

It's not a remake of R/B/Y, is it? It's just another game set in Kanto. If you're not playing as Red, it makes sense that Blue wouldn't be your rival.

Also, I believe it's been stated that all 151 1G Pokemon will be obtainable in LG (with trading, obviously), so there must be a way to get the Eeveelutions and Raichu. Maybe that means you can receive alread-evolved ones, or get another, non-partner Pikachu/Eevee and evolve that one.

Im pretty sure that unlike Pokemon Yellow, you can keep your main partner around with you even if theyre not part of your team of 6. I think they said that when they showed it during Treehouse at E3.
