Screw it: here's my idea:

Give him an offer into heaven if he admits:

*being the worst president in history
*that he was involved with Russia
*everything he lied about

Every time he refuses, he gets hurt (probably shouldn't say how he's hurt). In the extremely unlikely, but still somehow possible event that he does admit it, he doesn't go to heaven. Instead, he has to listen to a recording of him admitting it over and over again.

There's a scene in "Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell", where Eddie Pepitone is shoveling coal, and every time he gets the pile down, more comes into the room. He finds one that he previously marked with an "X", and throws a fit about it. I can't remember which episode, nor can I find a clip.

I think that this treatment would be fitting.

I don't get how hell is punishment for bad people

Like, if God banished Lucifer to hell because of him wanting free will/trying to go against his plan...then why is his first idea to torture everyone?

He's supposed to have an army of demons and shit so why torture them cus then they'd just betray him.

They probably drink mountain dew and listen to nickelback in hell and that's punishment enough

In Judaism, the name of Satan (Ha-Satan) is not a name, but a title. It stands for the "Adversary" , "Deceiver" , or "Opponent". It is also of note that The Ha-Satan is also an employee of G-d, to test the faith and resilience of his followers. This is most evident in the Book of Job, when the Ha-Satan is allowed by G-d to destroy Job's entire life as a test of faith.

It's actually a bit more complex than that. Different Abrahamic religions all have different interpretations. Sometimes even different sects within those religions don't agree. Basically, the three interpretations are like this;
- Satan is a prisoner in hell. He was put there because of his pride.
- Satan is the king of hell, who rebelled against god and now has free reign over Hell (and sometimes Earth).
- Satan is simply an agent of God. He's just doing what he is supposed to.
What is important to remember, though, is that in the first two, Satan actually hates humanity for supplanting him in the eyes of God. In some versions, it's his refusal to bow down to humanity that's the breaking point. In the latter interpretation, he is God's employee and his job is to punish humans, and by all accounts, he is pretty good at his job.

Either way, I can't think of any interpretation where Satan actually likes wicked people. He just uses them to prove his point and try and spite God.

It becomes a matter of how literally you take the Bible.

Nowhere does it say Lucifer is Satan. Additionally, the serpent that tricked Eve was never given a name. It could have been an unrelated third person.

Yeah, but it becomes a chicken, egg argument when you get into, though; the people telling us that all three people are the same being are also the ones that curated what makes up Bible canon now (regardless of how you feel about it's authenticity, it's historical fact that disputes on Bible canon historically did happen and human beings had a direct influence, whether they were acting on God's will or not).

Edit: Unless you are saying that a third, unnamed antagonist shows up at the end, because I thought for sure that Satan was name-checked in Revelations.
