the most bizarre thing i've heard kind of related to this- a few years back someone told me that they had a kind of mini-reuinion with some extended family members and went to an all you can eat buffet. about five of his extended family went to the bathroom for the express purpose of puking up their food so they could eat more, and apparently they were all overweight as well.

I know somebody who got kicked out of a Chinese buffet for threatening the staff when there was a hard chunk in the pork.
