Every kid is like that: they have 1 assigned parent (that they derive all of their personality traits from) and then the other who passes Gameplay traits and hair. (Miriel's kid, Laurent, hangs a Lampshade on this)

Yes, though there is no Wolf Chick (In Awakening). Panne is a Rabbit.

They also have a permanent weakness. (And the classes suck. Especially Taguel.)

olivia is ....just not good for anything other than Dancing, huh?

Yeah kinda. I mean you can reclass her to get some skills and she'll be like an assassin dancer.

You can reclass her if you really want to, but Dancers aren't really supposed to be on the same par as combat-oriented classes.

so this map is actually really hard but not because of actual HARDNESS like Olivia's son's map

but because they have an absurd amount of HP. THey don't HIT hard, I just can't hack them enough to kill them before they kill me

this feels like a waste, basically, Tharja is killing everyone and all of my weaker units, like Noire, Olivia, and Morgan died really early in the map

also reminder I'm on casual mode

I will admit, playing on casual is softening my senses. I'm no longer over calculating every move, and them dying just means they won't get any relationship points for the fight instead of, ya know, perma dying

You can beat this map by having a Sorcerer stand in your spawn and hit the boss with Mire.

You can obtain Mire from the Bonus Team Raydrik.

It's not a failure condition though!

It's a little thorny though. It's not quite as simple as just keeping count of door keys v doors while noting the presence of thieves and such on the side. It's certainly not impossible that you could Second Seal into a class to open doors so auto-failing you isn't the greatest option. I guess dump the door keys into the convoy or something upon character death?

Granted, I don't think it's a major flaw or anything but I can certainly see the argument that it is an oversight of sorts to put you in an unwinnable condition like that.

Doesn't it already work like that? Or do you have to wait until the end of the chapter to loot the corpses?

Edit: Hang on a moment. Doesn't that chapter have the walls raise/lower based on the position of your units?

Since he is playing under Casual I assume the items are still with the character when they respawn. I'm not really sure how the items are handled under Classic when a character dies.

There's always an excuse... lol. It sounds like what happened to me is happening to you. I know for me, I had to just come back to the game and say to myself, fuck it I'm heading straight through the story from here. I had gotten too caught up in the kids and balancing my team with the right classes and skills and etc. It had made the game stop being fun for me, so I just took a break and came back and just played straight through to the end and was satisfied. I'll probably crave a second playthrough some day.
