Giraffe
The English term "giraffe" obviously comes from French. But only NOW I have come to realise that in English, it received an EXTRA "f" in the theft process !! It is spelled "girafe" in French, with a SINGLE "f". Why has it been added a SECOND "f" in English ?! It's OK to borrow words from other superior languages, but at least borrow it in the accurate form ! --- Ave Caesar, Rosae Rosam et Spiritus Rex ! - Voila, ca ne veut absolument rien dire mais l'effet reste le meme https://i.imgtc.com/eRE0ORV.jpg ... Well those have been blatantly altered in the process, to a deeper level, to match English terminology and semiotics (the -our suffix for example, typically British). But "girafe" has been allegedly (in apparence only, it turns out !) taken as it is :(
