If you don't mind them coming back, feel free to feed them. It's hard to tell who is a stray, though, because house cats and wild cats pretty much act the same. Probably not a great idea to take them in, though, unless they are sick or weak or seem to want to.

We dont get any where we live but we always feed the strays when we travel. We were in Spain for a week and a cat came by our villa every day for food. We let him in and he chilled with us a couple of times.

Yeah, there are 2 stray cats living behind my place and I feed them every evening. But I won't adopt them because my place isn't really cat friendly.

i used to do so. but the stray never came back after i didn't leave food out twice. think something happened to him and it was a favorite. used to call him "gray cat" because of the gray fur.
