When someone posted that stuff about how he was about to go to prison, and about 2 days later Gavi completely debunked it, and it was fake. How is this any different? We have no proof money has been sent out, or that Burgess even got his money at all. Theres a thing called the gift tax exemption - an individual can gift another person up to 14,000 per year, tax free, for any purpose. The gift tax only kicks in after gifts to a single recipient have surpassed that threshold.
