Im late to the James Gunn GoTG director firing for his old tweets incident.

Progressives that are shilling and defending him would definitely be upset at the tweets and not the actual firing if they were consistent with their opinions.

Depends on the politics of the offender. Just like this site.

But this thing with Gunn. These whiney leftists are the ones that created this new age of puritan Motion Picture Production Code esq nonsense. So by their own standards they can't have Roseanne punished but Gunn not. I don't agree with either but they wanted this so it needs to be equal.

Edgy offensive humor is whatever, I think it was hasty to fire him but Disney can do what they want with their money. It's crazy to me that a grown ass man would make those types of tweets part of his public persona though. I don't get what was humorous about them.
