I used to be a service writer/support staff in the service lane of a Ford dealership, which was stressful because customers suck. Now I'm working at our affiliate body shop, which primarily handles insurance claims for Toyotas. Everything is so much more relaxed here, I love it

So far everyone seems cool. My new boss described the place as "the island of misfit toys", and I'm inclined to agree >_>

I realize now why I like it so much - no customers! We might get some random person that waltzes in with a question or that wants to do a self-pay repair, but for the most part we deal with collisions and dealership jobs.

That's been my problem all along: I despise customer service!

Also, the paint booth here is like the coolest thing in the world - it's a big, pressurized industrial shed with fans and heaters and paint mixing equipment. The stuff must be really toxic and flammable to have this much safety gear around.
