What I mean is do you repeatedly pay to go watch movies you never expected to be good in the first place?

You may ask, why would anyone do this?

But there are a lot of movies everybody agrees are sub par or bad that made a lot of money because a lot of people paid to watch them.

Many of them seem to be okay that their expectations were at least met, even if that expectation was that the movie was never going to be good in the first place.

If Netflix counts, I regularly pay $11 a month to watch crap movies on there so I can laugh at how crappy they are.

Although I do watch the good stuff on there as well.

I'll watch movies I have zero expectations of. Imagine that it's a sliding scale from -10 to +10. Zero expectation is just neutral. I've driven to a theatre before and bought a ticket for whatever show was starting next just for the hell of it too.

I've done it plenty of times. If I fully expect to hate something though, I'll usually wait for home video.
