This is one of the franchises I'd like to see revived.

I know AE2 is on PS4 as it was on sale not too long ago. There's at least what, 4 in the franchise? Originally on PS1, PS2, and PSP.

As for what plays like it, dunno. There's a lot of good 3D platformers. My usual suggestions are Mario, Ratchet and Clank, or Sly Cooper but they aren't 'that' similar.

You don't just push buttons to attack. Every item uses the analogs to swing, steer, pull, or shoot.

I'm still a bit salty Ape Escape Million Monkeys never got localized. It was a weird game in that I was darker and had a different gameplay style, but it still looked fun. It was basically a sequel to Pumped and Primed, which did get localized. Maybe P&P just didn't sell well.
