The only reason it seems obvious now is because the show was so spoofed and parodied. Unbreakable was so-so, Lady in the Water was kinda bad, Devil was surprisingly fun, Signs was fucking goofy, The Last Airbender was understandably mediocre (although I'd have watched the sequels), The Village was fucking awful (and, tbh, I turned around and joked to my brother at the time that ~~since there was no timestamp, the thing is probably set in modern times... and was disappointed when that did turn out to be the twist~~), and I think I haven't seen the rest. --- (\/)(\/)\|-\| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. <cite>Zeus posted [p:905772692] in The 6th se...
