GMArcturus 07/25/18 12:36:08 AM #1:	So I know there are some people around here that are considering going and seeing this movie. May I try to convince you otherwise? See, by going and seeing this movie you are reinforcing to Sony that what they are trying to do with Spider-man movies without involving Marvel is a good idea. Now I know that Spider-man himself isn't going to be in Venom, but there is no Venom without Spider-man. In fact, just recently the director explained why there won't be any Spider logo on Venom's chest in the movie. You can find that stupidity here: https://bit.ly/2v3U2DR. Until Sony starts losing money on each and every superhero movie they make and they are forced to hand the license back over to Disney/Marvel we are going to get stupidity like this in every single movie. Personally, if it hits NFI, I'll watch it. If it doesn't, probably not. Zikten posted... It's just a huge mistake to do a stand alone Venom movie. My brain is telling me that this is just Sony throwing everything they can at the wall to see if it sticks because they can also see that it's looking like they might need to just give the license back at this point. I'm actually torn about this movie to be honest. On one hand, I want it to be a colossal failure so that the characters can be brought to the MCU.
