nothing wrong with reminding your countrymen that your president is trying to erode public trust in your institutions so people think they can only follow/trust him and nothing else. because that's not dangerous at all.

It was quite evident well before Trump came along that the "mainstream media" of today isn't the coveted "institution" of actual facts, fair reporting, journalism, and news coverage it once was.

Of course Fox does. They cater to their base just like CNN does.

My theory is that Fox is currently more grounded in 2018 because their guy is the President. They don't have to act as crazy as they were during the Obama years. Likewise, CNN has to throw emotional stories out there to bait their core audience because right now, the Dems are losing and Trump is the President.

When a Democrat becomes President again, CNN will still exaggerate, but they'll be more grounded in reality since they don't have to act like the sky is falling every single day.
