40 hours in, almost done... the number of puzzles eclipses any game I've played, and none of them are as obtuse as the original. Although there are a couple that suffer from a translation error >.>

Nope; if anything the puzzles are rather literal once you learn the secrets. Every hint word has a corresponding code word, for example "missing" could mean "moon"

But there is ONE PUZZLE which is stupid ass garbage

Finished it, took 40 hours... making it probably the longest 2d platformer ever

Is this one of them?, because I solved this puzzle but I am still confused about why because I don't understand it:

The part to get the cog where you need to chant the 5 mantras at the "Colossal Dragon's Neck". I got the clues about the twins/cog guarding a beasts jaw, and I got the other clue about the mantras and the neck leading to the jaw so I got that they were connected.... but I have NO IDEA why that room where you chant the mantras has anything to do with a dragons neck at all (unless the name of the room, something not english, actually means dragons neck... and then thats just dumb).

I only tried the mantras there in the first place because I had been searching for forever and I just happened to notice that the room was supposed to have a path leading down so I figured why not try -_-

I'm still stuck on a lot of parts in the later game, but I'm slowly figuring it all out. 10/10 will play again for cheevos

Yay, I found another mini boss to kill after roaming for 3 hours trying to figure out the puzzles I'm stuck on last night.... And he dropped an item that I'm positive I dont need just yet :x

I solved a loooot of puzzles today and I finally made headway on where I was stuck the hardest the brahma puzzle and how to get more than skull things to show up on the pedestals

I figured that out and was psyched, but I think I might have found another one of those translation errors you were talking about: Abzu = Atum? I think that's one... or else there is another background statue around named abzu that also has to do with water just like atums description said... weird. I guess I'll know shortly because I'm 3/4 on examining those things now at least

nvm, found both of them now. weird to have two similarly named dudes who are both creation deities have to do with water <_<

disappointed... apparently even lighting up all 5 of those lights doesn't do a damn thing so far so I'm missing something else. Back to the drawing board

edit: you can hit the lights to change the colors around for each one. I am the dumb.

Stuck as hell on the same puzzle for the past 7-8 hours over the past few days: The last riddle of Anubis. And I'm pretty sure it's stopping me from being able to kill my last two bosses

I've made it this far without looking up anything, but man this sucks

Ok, I'm gonna have to @Lokarin on this one.. I did it! I cheated and looked up how to do the last anubis riddle!.... Now WHERE IN THE HELL does it say that the incanting with the djed pillar needs to be done in front of the Yuga bronze pot wheel???

Is this another translation error? Because I did that obvious solution chanting with no mantra equipped about a hundred times and in every single room and nowhere did it specify an exact location. I even tried: about 100 other mantra combinations involving Missing silence or missing howls or end of silence, blah blah. Tried turning down all the sound effects and BGM sliders in-game and chanting a "silent" mantra", fell asleep on the pause menu to be "silent" for 5 some odd minutes, went into the sound test and started/stopped a track and left it "silent" for a good period of time, and plain ole' just sat in the anubis room and didn't touch the controller for a good ten minutes... and it turns out the most obvious/FIRST thing I try is correct????

I'm kind of beyond pissed right now, because I haven't looked up anything else in the game to this point and I've been at this for like 10 hours and there is NOTHING in-game I've found that states or clues to that location for the puzzle

Beat it, 57 hours playtime first blind playthrough on hard mode and only looked up that mistranslation riddle which was around 11 hours of that play time

I feel bad for the people having serous glitches that are preventing their progress. My only one was that the first time I beat the final boss the game froze up and wouldn't let me do anything
