Having these numbers now is gonna make it even more pathetic when Republicans fail this November.

That said, it's nice to see us get back up to the Obama era

Did you even read literally the opening paragraph

The U.S. economy surged in the April-June quarter to an annual growth rate of 4.1 percent. Thats the fastest pace since 2014, driven by consumers who began spending their tax cuts and exporters who rushed to get their products delivered ahead of retaliatory tariffs.

Thats going to tank.

Also somebody read @CharlesBronson the second sentence

Yeah, but that will be the EU's fault, obv. Trump knows this, so got in early calling them foes, as they are just trying to bring down his GREAT success.

Wait, does that mean we're officially in "Trump's economy" and we're no longer putting the credit for all economic growth on the past administration?

Since this growth is spurred by people purchasing products en-masse to beat the implementation of Trump's tariffs then I'd say yes, we are in Trump's economy now.

So if the economy continues to grow beyond this point at high rates... we can put all the credit on Trump's economic policies. Similarly, if the economy tanks, we can also blame Trump for this. Right?

It's why Republicans put an expiration date on Trump's tax cuts. They're preparing to fire up their base in 2024 so they can retake the white house. They've already planned for the future.

Thought that was to pass it with 51 votes vs 60 votes and now they're looking to introduce a bill to make those cuts permanent.

Your (along with many others) misunderstanding of history, is the reason history keeps repeating itself.

Democrat Politicians (along with rhinos) spend the surplus that is earned during Republican Administrations. It's a repeating cycle.

Who's in government isn't going to suddenly make him rich and successful, but the reality for people at his level is that Trump gave him a tax cut, and Obama gave him the ACA. Assuming he's healthy, which one objectively made his life better? I get the idea that in terms of hypotheticals poor people should vote for democrats because it's "good for them", but sometimes the reality of policy means that isn't always true.

lol @ people not knowing tax credits...

I assure you no one one CE got more tax back in 2017 than me.

That means that I originally PAID more taxes throughout the year, but got it all back. Got it all back.
Also, swimming in equity.

I'm sure that half of CE still lives in mom's basement, or grandma...

As far as salary, even my wife makes over the median income for an entire household.
Did I mention she was a beautiful Korean woman?

Meanwhile half of CE humps their pillow.

So before you try to throw out a half ass insult about people being poor, know the facts.
Cause in the end you just look like a person full of hate that just trolls message boards trying to
get someone who might actually care angry...

It's just not cool anymore when everyone does it. You might as well still be doing the macarena (sp)

Also in before, 3 CEmen say I'm triggered, and what was that other thing? Oh yeah, at least 5 of you will be like this mf having a meltdown

Instead, post pics of your waifu pillow.

https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/economy/reports/2018/07/26/454087/gdp-growing-workers-wages-arent/

Outside of the very wealthy, virtually all working Americans income and standard of living is determined by wages. Unfortunately, wage growth has been at best mediocre for most of the last four decades. Since the Great Recession, nominal wage growth has been worryingly low, exceeding 2.5 percent only a handful of times through the end of 2017growing barely faster than inflation. But with the unemployment rate continuing to fall, many experts predicted workers were poised to finally see gains outpace inflation this year.

That hasnt happened. In fact, when adjusting for inflation, wages have actually fallen this year. Its not that wages havent ticked up at allthey have, in part due to increases in the minimum wage. But even with slightly faster nominal wage growth, workers have lost ground because inflation has picked up more than wage growth.
