I know several people who did it and it works and weight comes off quickly. I have never really researched it to find out why and if it is healthy long term.

I know several people who did it and it works and weight comes off quickly. I have never really researched it to find out why and if it is healthy long term.

The body starts burning fat instead of carbs for energy, so weight drops pretty quickly after a week or two.

But to answer the topic, clearly vegans. Keto peeps aren't actually obnoxious at all, cuz they don't try to paint you as being a bad person for doing what humans (and every other omnivore/carnivore) have naturally done for our entire existence.

I'm vegan, and vegans. I just got into it with another vegan today that was bitching about someone who said they were vegan, but mistakenly consumed small amounts of dairy.

I can't fucking stand gatekeeping vegans that care more about wearing the label as status symbol than the bigger overall cause. To them it's all or nothing.

Shit, if someone just wants to do meatless Mondays, then fantastic. Don't shame people for their diets, especially if they're trying. Every little bit helps.

Do you know what is worse than that? Having people, often times ones you barely know, find out you are a vegan or vegetarian and then have you harass you about it. They make jokes at you, try to make you eat meat and tell you why your diet is stupid, and how they dislike vegans/vegetarians because they are so forward about their beliefs.

This happens all the fucking time and in all manner of meals. I've had clients, people I genuinely enjoy, strangers, and even family do this. And I'm hardly pushy. I've had people know me for months without realizing I'm a vegetarian. I have no doubt you've dealt with some asshole vegans, but I assure you, I've dealt with many more assholes who eat meat and I still manage to not lump all of them into one category.
