I got all the event stuff in the last 12 hours of the event. That was a lot of challenge quests at once.

The good: Team sorting was convenient to build around restrictions.
The bad: None of them were actually challenging.
The ugly: What is an event shop. Got the lore, ascension mats, 100 Gold EXPs, 10 hearts, 10 lamps, and almost nothing else

There's got to be a better way to let people catch up on content than rerun old events. It's kinda weird that this game has endured so long with this paradigm-- feels like it'd kill interest in droves.

The advantage of rerunning events is that you can also rerun banners with desirable limited servants on them that might still appeal to people who played the event the first time. I don't see another way of accomplishing that.

Next year will have more reruns than any other year so far, so that's something to look forward to...

I don't particularly mind the idea quick week-long reruns before a new event. Halloween took WAY too long but it seems like they learned their lesson after that one. Next year starts with like four straight months of reruns with almost nothing new though, so that's going to be really painful. >_>

Thankfully AFAIK we never have a stretch like that again, and I'm sure we'll be getting story content somewhere in there, but still! At least on the other side of that mess, we get a new Guda Guda event.~

Boy these reruns sure do a good job of showing how bad the early events were! Makes you appreciate how far we've come. Time locking aside, this looks like a lightning-quick shop clean-up and then it's back to... ember farming I guess? Lotto boxes are capped at 8 for the rerun so we can take it easy until the true grinding hell rears its head in this year's actual Xmas event. >_>
