A new character that could be interesting is Noctis but FF15 was even more mixed reception than FF13 and Lightning so who knows...

i think the best thing Noctis has going for him is that he's been consistently pushed since FF15 came out. like he's in freaking Tekken now and his game has gotten major updates and re-releases consistently since launch. people who didnt like 15 or didnt finish it when it came out are now replaying it. he probably wont do Cloud or Squall numbers but he'll do around Lightning levels of strength probs

I know Undertale is the biggest indie game to talk about since the last char battle, but would any of the Stardew Valley characters have any traction? I mean, probably not, since it's such an ensemble cast, but Leah and Linus seem to be fan favorites. Or we could just go with "Farmer" since people like to support PCs.
