I think MMX2 is kinda bad, but the Sigma Stage bosses were fine. Mostly bad stage design and Maverick battles, plus a lame weapon pool

Sigma in 2 is the easiest Sigma in the series, by a fairly wide margin. Low damage output and you can be healed by summoned mobs during it.

The only bad boss is Violen, because the majority of his fight is luck. You cannot dodge the ball if it's aimed right at you, and it can do it repeatedly.

Good lord, it's not THAT bad.

Bring some filled up sub-tanks and use Bubble Splash and Silk Shot/Sonic Slicer against Violen and Serges respectively.

Yeah if you think X2 Sigma is bad, don't even bother with X3. I somehow managed to defeat X2 Sigma the first time I fought him.

X2 is fine, the only Sigma boss that's bad is Violen due to how his random attack pattern can throw stuff at you that's stretching the limits of what people can react to, Agile is easy once you get used to how it works and Serges is a great fight. Actually Sigma himself is kind of dumb I guess, he's not very hard but the fight goes on way too long.

You're better off using Crystal Hunter on the bats to use as platforms and don't ever have to deal with that nonsense with the moving platform.

Serges is also pretty free if you do this: Stand underneath him (you can stand on that giant tank contraption) and use charged up Sonic Slicer. His projectile won't even hit you if you stand on the correct spot.
