But rather than dressing what he said, or why his proposals for diversity were wrong, news outlets misrepresented a couple of lines and painted him as this bitter, degenerate, woman hating dude. Rather than a guy who had the same ideal for diversity but thought the system was flawed. Even NPR fell for the "he's a misogynist" meme. Im going to be real careful of what I say and I mean nothing offensive by this, but I believe that the guy has some sort of condition that has left him with very impaired social skills, and the memo shows a profound lack of self-awareness and extreme social ineptitude. I think he meant well but the fact that he didnt understand how his article would have been interpreted or that it was a bad idea to distribute at work is kind of crazy to me. And he didn't just write this memo of his own volition, they asked him for feedback after their hilariously ignorant diversity meeting so he did exactly what they asked him to. CyricZ posted... This.
