Sure.

My only question would be "Am I reasonably capable of doing the job?"

not worried about committing any felonies?

If I can do it then that would imply I wouldn't get caught.

no, it implies that you are capable of doing the job. nothing in there about what happens afterwards

If you get caught robbing a bank, you did not successfully rob a bank. Once I've got $5M, I couldn't give a fuck how bad the police want me, I'm gone.

a murder would also be a felony.

"What crimes would I potentially be committing in order to complete this job?"
(simultaneously answers if crime is in involved and if so, to what extent)

"What potential dangers or hazards will I be exposed to in order to complete this job?"

That two are probably enough and $2.5 million is still pretty good if the answers aren't off-putting.
I guess a 3rd question, "how long will it realistically take me to complete this job?" is also good to ask, so you don't end up indentured for something like 50+ years w/ the threat of death if you balk at any time during it.

Oh, missed the yes/no part.

Fuck that then, not playing 20 questions just to see what crimes I'd be committing, if I'd possibly die or get maimed and how, and if I'm being tricked into long term servitude...

I would ask if it would get me sent to prison, if it would result in my wife leaving me, and if it would be something I'd find too physically disgusting to do.

The person's answers:
"No, you would not be sent to prison."
"We do not know your wife, but it is very unlikely she would leave you over this task."
"We do not know your physical preferences, but most people would not find this task at all disgusting."

Given the terms, I'd probably just walk away outright.

However, at a minimum I'd probably ask:
1) Does it involve anything illegal?
2) Can this task be completed in fewer than 40 hours, at which point my life would go back to normal?
3) Will my health, safety, and/or freedom be compromised either as a direct result of this task or as a possible outcome?

Your task is to press a button once every five seconds from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day for two years with no days off and no breaks. Due to the specifics of the machine the button is connected to, nothing electronic can be placed within 100m of it (so no phone or computer to pass the time) and the task cannot be automated.

Good luck.

As far as I know they are not in a relationship and would not be having sex without intervention. I guess the fastest easiest way to get a photo like that would be kidnapping and drugs, but you could do it legally by getting to know them, braking up their current relationships, getting them together on the rebound and try to convince them to have sex in a public area with a secret hidden security camera.

You're getting no more than 2.5 million if you're a reasonable person. You have to at least ask if this poses a risk to your well being or your family's. And then only 1.25 million if you wanna ask if it would effect your reputation but I guess that technically factors into well being

You just pressed a series of buttons to make this post, so you are absolutely capable of it. You may not like it - in fact, it may basically be robbing you of two years of your life - but that wasn't the question asked.

KJ StErOiDs posted...
1. Is it legal work?
2. Will it take less than two years to complete?

1. Does the job have a high risk of being caught if it's not legal?
2. Could I get killed doing it?
3. How long is the job for?

The person's answers:
"The job is not strictly illegal, so based on how you phrased your question the answer is no."
"That depends on how you choose to undertake the job - should you choose to attempt it through non-legal means, it is quite possible that you will be killed."

The third question is not a yes-or-no question, so you do not get an answer.

Given the nature of the approach and the amount of the payment, it's obviously something shady and dangerous to begin with, so it is stupid to ask any questions. You either go all in or fold.

I would take the job under one condition: don't blame me if things goes wrong because of my limited abilities. You're the ones that choose me.

And if it is something that is utterly unacceptable for me to do, I would pay 3M for someone else to do it. And I would be willing to fight the hitmen if they come at me for it. In case I die, I'll be walking with a recorder all the time, so there will be proof of everything that happened safely guarded beyond these guys reach so my family can take them to the court and get 10 times more than my payment + sending them all to prison. Or they would all die also, no matter, I win in the 3 possible scenarios.
