Apparently Square-Enix were open for pitches for Gex from indie devs with their Collective program. This is how Fear Effect was sorta brought back.

I too recently had Gex on the brain. It's such a 90s concept though, to have some platforming mascot quip his way through various pop culture parody levels. Comedian Dana Gould voiced Gex back in the day. Who would voice him in a new Gex game?
