Beat the Prologue and Chapter 1. Im assuming it stops when you finish Chapter 2 otherwise it would be a pretty long demo. So far it definitely feels more like VC1 than 2 so thats a good thing. Of the main characters Kai aka Sniper girl seems best so far. Raz is your typical loudmouth hothead and the MC is a little like Welkin, but more cowardly I guess? The blonde doesnt have the greatest English voice. Havent met the dog yet sadly.

It says it carries over to the real game. Is that just for the bonus item or will we get to skip these chapters in the main game?

Im actually not sure. I imagine the accessories and medals carry over at least, but maybe it keeps your chapter progress from the demo?

Theres a way to unlock a character even in the demo. Ill spoiler bar it.

if you let Curtis be KOd in battle (dont think it works during prologue fight because it didnt for me) and then touch his body to bring the medic you will unlock his sister when you finish the stage.

What a beefy demo. In fact, what beefy levels. Didn't expect chapter 1 to go on for that long, though I guess Chapter 1 in the first game was fairly significant as well? It's been a while.

Certainly feels like a demo that's meant to carry over 1 to 1 to the full game. I do get what people say about it just being a total copy if VC1 in visuals and mechanics, but if making it on the cheap like this works then I say keep fucking doing it.

Grenadier at least seems to be a new unit type. It seems pretty damn good, but at the same time its making me feel like it will basically be required for stages with turrets. Snipers still seem ridiculously good too. Also dear god some of the Potentials these starting non-mains have are awful. Like some look literally unusable....

Grenadier is p cool. I love how it works on defense too.

Done everything in the demo, maxed allowed levels gear and storable money/exp, A Rank everything, unlocked everything including the Ace weapon in chapter 2. There might be more personnel profile to unlock, but based on the amount of usage I've given certain characters without adding I don't think everyone can get their 2nd part of the personnel page in the demo so I'll hold off. Only tangible thing you can get that I haven't is the medal for 250 kills, but seems kind of pointless to do it here. That said, it would drop a piece of gear...

anybody got this on switch? any noticeable lag or clipping based on docked vs. handheld? asking for a friend.

I saw a demo comparison somebody did and the Switch version isnt as detailed as XBone. The PS4 version is likely identical to the XBone version.

Switch version cuts out background scenery stuff like trees and flowers and doesnt have as good hair if that stuff matters. I havent seen anything about how it plays yet
