So Guy 3 fucking managed to weasel his way into being commissioner last year (because he was afraid he'd be left out unless he insisted on it), and he screwed up and scheduled the draft before preseason week 3. It's extremely annoying because generally the starters will play into the second half in preseason week 3, leaving the window way open for injuries.

So we drafted, and that weekend, lost guys like Allen Robinson, Spencer Ware, Julian Edelman, and others I'm sure, to season-ending injuries. It wasn't fun. Yes, injuries are part of a game, but why go out and invite that risk when it's completely unnecessary?

Last week we were discussing draft dates (Guy 1, Guy 2, Guy 3, and myself), and I was explicitly like yes we have to make sure it's after week 3. Guys 1 and 2 were both like yeah obviously that makes sense, and Guy 3 was sitting there with his mouth shut in agreement.

That Friday, I was out for vacation, and he emails out the draft date; Thursday, August 23rd. The week of preseason week 3.

Our boss (Guy 1) and Guy 2 were both out Monday through Thursday this week as well, so there was no way to get everyone together and assess the situation. So I get back and ask Guy 3, dude the fuck? And he resorts to his shitty-ass grin of "tHe RiSk Is PaRt Of ThE fUn" bullshit.

It's like he knew it would piss me off and he knew I wouldn't be able to do anything about it since Guys 1-2 were out for most of this week.

The shittier part is, he pulled this "prank" on the marketing chick, the one who won it all last year, by making her think the buy-in was $100 instead of $10. So she goes out of her way to withdraw $100 cash when it was totally unnecessary. An unfunny and inconvenient "prank" / dick move. Obviously he's going to pay her back, but it's such a shitty thing to do.

He's such a douche.

I feel I should add that this guy also tried to scam one of the two out-of-office players in a trade last year. He had Dustin Hopkins, kicker for Redskins, and tried to pass him off as DeAndre Hopkins, a top 3 fantasy WR from Texas.

If you're familiar with Yahoo fantasy, when you propose a trade, the players are listed as first initial, last name. So both players would show up as "D. Hopkins."

He never catches any sort of flak for this shit, meanwhile it gets brought up time after time when I wanted to trade PIT D/ST for KC D/ST straight up before the season even started. Got fucking vetoed because they felt I was taking advantage of a helpless owner.

It's not just that, but the fact that he does it to piss me off and only when our boss or Guy 2 isn't around. He treats them like they're the "cool kids" in school, absolutely refusing to shit-talk them or do anything other than "yeah I agree with you!" But when it comes to me and Guy 4, he just turns into a dick.

It's fucking cowardly. But it makes me laugh because our boss has straight up told Guy 4 and me that he won't make fun of Guy 3 because he knows Guy 3 can't take it. Literally no respect for Guy 3 whatsoever, it's fucking hilarious.

For real. He's such a tool and everyone else gets it, but nobody else cares enough to say something about it since he only does this shit when Guy 1 isn't around. So it makes it look like all I do is bitch and bitch about nothing when the reality is, all I do is relay information and talk about it.

My boss came over this morning and was in a trolling mood after the Chiefs L last night, but I eventually brought up our early draft and he turns it into a whole philosophical conversation about how I never live my life with any risk and this tiny little wrench into my riskless life is why I'm "freaking out" over it (even though he feels exactly the same way because we were all talking about it last week).

Then he took it a step further and was like "well why don't we just draft after week 1 in case anyone gets hurt in the first week?" -- deadass trolling me like a shitposter on here.

These people have no convictions.
