No physical damage. My S7 keeps resetting even after doing a factory reset. It's worked great for two years until this issue arose. Any estimate on the cost when not covered by insurance/warranty?

It's been working great otherwise, though, so I'm hesitant to do that.

Well, they sad they couldn't fix it and told me the battery is now draining super fast when being used. I got it back... it's true that the battery drains fairly fast, but not as fast as they said.... furthermore, it hasn't restarted against my will, either. So basically my phone has been semi-fixed without having to pay anything, knock on wood!

My S7 edge used to randomly restart on occasion but I have not seen it happen for some time now. I was never able to find a concrete answer on why it was happening but i remember one of the possible solutions was to delete the system cache from safe mode but if you have already tried the factory reset then I imagine you tried that as well.

Hopefully your semi fixed phone holds out until the s10 comes out or another company's flagship phone goes on some kind of a sale.

Youll either have to replace it with a new or they can attempt to fix it. Both choices cost money but getting a new phone has its advantages because it'll be new.
