Of the hundreds of thousands of games out there, one company has somehow managed to make BOTH of the best ones. That is impossible, but Blizzard managed. How did they do it?

It would be Brood War and D2 Lord of Destruction for best Blizzard games.

And you wouldn't exactly be embarrassing yourself by claiming them as the greatest games ever, though I wouldn't be that bold myself.

Even considering the genre, now having played a few MMOs I feel like it's pretty below the curve compared to most MMOs after it and only had such a following due to getting its foot in the door first

But I'm not exactly the type of audience for that game so maybe it has certain addictive or actual good gameplay qualities others don't. Alternatively maybe it's improved greatly since like 2009 when I gave it something resembling a legitimate shot.

Old WoW was amazing. I reinstalled it once for a Hearthstone incentive, and they had completely butchered everything I loved. But I would certainly accept WoW at the top of a best games list.
