Now I'm definitely no fan of the Kardashians, they offer nothing to me and if they all died randomly one day my life would not be affected in the least. But I keep seeing people say things like "they're famous just for being famous" and "what do they actually do"?

Well its actually impossible to be famous for being famous, they just know how to manipulate news media to remain relevant and also might be the most prolific social media stars of all time. I mean I think it was the young one Kylie who said something on Twitter about not using snapchat since becoming a mom and their stock dropped a significant percentage which equated to over a billion dollars in lost value. Lol like wtf? One tweet having a billion dollar consequence? The influence they control is absurd.

And then when people ask what they actually do, they're usually not honestly asking the question, they're implying that these girls do absolutely nothing and just rake in cash from... somewhere. Well of course that's also absurd when you think about it for 5 seconds. They run multiple insanely lucrative companies, they star in what has got to be the most successful reality tv show of all time. And the Kardashian brand is one of the most popular there is in America.

Now of course there's a lot of legitimate hate they get, like the Kardashian curse has been scientifically proven to be 100% effective. And Joe Rogan's bit on Bruce Jenner becoming Caitlyn Jenner is an exaggeration for a joke ( and a hilarious one) but might not be all that off when it comes to the actual message. Oh and I'd like to see people discuss these things or whatever, but c'mon don't just come in to troll me and stuff cuz I'm definitely not going to waste more time than I already have defending the Kardashians. Lol but have fun friends!

They still do far more than manipulate their social media to get famous tho. Like I said they built a brand that is one of the most popular in the country, have the most successful reality TV show in history, and operate a multitude of different businesses that cover things like designer cloths, make up, even gaming apps. Social media has of course helped them do this, but it goes far beyond just social media.

I'm torn on Kim cuz she's got a super pretty face but Idk how much of that is make up and lighting and how good she'd look IRL, plus I've seen pics of her butt when it isn't at the exact perfect angle and it looks hideous.

That's like saying winning the lottery is anything more than luck.

The Ks lucked out in a sex tape exploding at the start of social media. It could have just as easy been Paris Hilton, who they also had relations with. Unfortunately for Paris, her madness ended before Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook were super massive.

Exactly what makes you think they didn't put much effort into their success? I mean is there any reasoning behind that at all? Or are you just assuming that all of the assumptions people make about them are facts?

See you say that it could have just as easily been Paris Hilton, but there's 0 logic behind that at all. There's no reason whatsoever to believe that anyone could have pulled off what the Kardashians pulled off behind a single sex tape. And the reason is cuz while you may think it was due to just a single sex tape, there was a ton more behind the scenes that went into building up their brand. The sextape is just how you were introduced to the Kardashians, but to say its what made them is objectively incorrect.

Now she has a fucking record deal and an image that will last more than a decade. Logan and Jake Paul are braining numbing painful, but they'll be more successful than me, because they conquered their audience. You think they sweat daily doing their work?

And Paris is a fantastic example, considering she used to be "famous for being famous". Even before she cooled off, she established a sucessful brand to keep her going.

Its not that the Ks are some sort of genius, its that stupid people have no idea how to manage fame and money. So yes, the Ks aren't stupid.

The reason Cash me ousside girl remained famous is because she had the power of a record company behind her. And logan and jake paul found a niche to fill and actually did work very hard, they uploaded a ton of content consistently which isn't as easy as you'd assume it to be. And Paris Hilton wasn't nearly as successful as Kim Kardashian despite starting off with more money and more fame/notoriety. So yeah Paris is a great example to prove that what the Kardashians did is extremely impressive.

And dude, you gotta watch that sex tape, she's fucking good man lol.

But yeah I wouldn't call them geniuses in the traditional sense, but we call musical prodigies geniuses even if they aren't all that smart, and I think the same could be said for being able to play her fans and social media in general like a violin.

TBH Idk enough about them to say whether they're actually above average intelligent people, or below, but all I can say is that they are very proficient at the things they actually do, and the ability to turn that into a fortune and a career is impressive no matter what.

The only person I've discredited is Danielle Bregoli, and that's cuz I actually watched a show about her rise to fame, so I know it had to do with a record company hitting her up after the Dr. Phil show. I was actually talking about how they're self made internet stars.

And yeah Paris isn't as successful because she's just flat out not as good at turning her brand into money like the Kardashians are. You can chock that up to being a drunken mess, but it doesn't change that fact at all.

No one said the Kardashians are the first of their breed or the last, but they're absolutely undeniably the best at what they do. And anyone who's the best at something that makes millions and millions of dollars is unbelievably impressive. But obviously you're set in your ways and no amount of proof will convince you that you might be mistaken about them so I'll just let you go on your way.
