I've only played a little bit of the first MGS and that's it, Snake was probably the shakiest cross off on my list, but I did play like 3 hours of it

Is there a website that easily shows where a character is a main playable character?
Because I don't what what would qualify Daisy.

I actually was wondering about people who crossed Richter off their list - I think you need to have played Rondo of Blood or Dracula X which are both pretty obscure, has everyone played these? Dracula X is whatever but Rondo of Blood, the 1993 PC engine game, is an absolutely fantastic Castlevania, probably the most impressive/polished of the old-style Castlevanias I think. It's REALLY worth taking the time to seek out through emulation, it's a game that's weirdly obscure because it was a Japan-only PC engine game and yet it's like, one of the pinnacle Castlevanias imo and Richter's first appearance. Dracula X doesn't do it justice at all. If you like Castlevania and you've never played it it's a must.

I imagine the weirdest one for me is Meta Knight. The only two Kirby games I've played are Crystal Shards and Air Ride. I figure Air Ride counts as spin-off game, and that's the only one of those two that Meta Knight is in.

Also, I'm uncertain about Pokemon Trainer. I've never played Gen 1 or FRLG. And Pokemon Trainer is based off the FRLG one, but he's also meant to just represent the generic trainer character that is the protagonist of every game. Guess I'll leave him there.

His appearance in SOTN is definitely no cameo. He's one of the main characters of the game.

Yeah, Richter played a pretty big role in SOTN. If he was just in the opening, I wouldn't count it, but he plays a role past that.

Richter is a main character in SotN, just not the main character. I'd say he's more substantial than a cameo there.

The PSP's Dracula X Chronicles had a full remake of Rondo and you could unlock a port of the original, which was better than the remake anyway. Great game, worth buying the collection just to get it.

Also imo SotN counts. He's got a pretty significant role in the game even beyond Richter mode. Wouldn't count Portrait of Ruin but SotN should be fair game

Uhhh, you should probably just count Mii Fighters if you ever made a Mii on the Wii. That's what I did, and I mean, that is their origin. Also counted Richter from having played SotN. You can call it a cameo, but it's an entire alternate playthrough of the game with him. I think he was in at least one of the DS games too?

With that said, my non-interest in Pokemon and Fire Emblem is basically what messed up my list here.
