also I'm of the opnion that TP is the most 'whatever' entry in the franchise, but I can definitely understand liking it. Rest of the list is similarly understandable for the most part even if I don't agree with several individual placements.

I will say that over the past year I've come of the opnion that lack of nostalgia is actually not a reason to dislike lttp though IMO. That game just flows and after having spent so much time on it through randomizer, it makes most of the other games feel bloated and empty. Especially OoT. OoT is really really bad about it and it's the second biggest reason MM > OoT

I'm not trying to fight you here but I will say that saying about one of my top 10 favorite games of all time "everybody can agree this is one of the worst in the series" makes me feel adversarial about the rest of the list

People not liking Zelda II is nothing new to me but a lot of people like Zelda II a lot

I'd love to see your own write-up on Twilight Princess, after playing the HD remake and beating it (since Wii version broke in literally the final dungeon), and then watching an LP on MM3D, I came to grips that both I don't like MM as much as I constantly try to believe, and that TP was my favorite Zelda (as well).

So seeing other people's opinions on how they praise it is nice.

Had you read the write up and the discussion about that game, you'd see I included them because FS is a multiplayer only game and didn't feel like it deserved it's own since I didn't care much for it to begin with. I played FSA more so and focused on that for a write up. Thanks man

8. GCN: Wind Waker (March 24, 2003)
I had actually planned on ranking Wind Waker a little lower as I had some difficulty getting into it, but overall, it brought about this whole new series of Toon Link that I felt it deserved a higher spot. I honestly didnt care for the boat aspect of it, but I did love how it made the world just feel so endless like an actual open sea. I wasnt fond of the newer items this game brought, such as the Leaf, but it did add a refreshing new addition from the usual Zelda dungeon items. I actually started this game on GCN, but ended up finishing the actual thing on the WiiU when the HD edition released with its own special console. I started this game 3 different times and its probably why its not higher as I know it is a more beloved title, but I just couldnt immerse myself in it like the other Zelda titles. I think it might have to do with the same complaint I had about SS where it just seemed so bright and cheerful. However, I feel like this game wasnt made to be dark and it wouldnt fit. Speaking of being so light and cheerful, the music from this game is probably some of the best in all Zelda titles! I feel its impossible to be upset when you listen to Outset Island music. It was just so fun and bouncy. As Im typing this, I actually looked up the music on YouTube and am listening to it and it makes me want to play!
Its biggest downfall for me was the sailing. I guess for me, the sailing just felt like it took too long and wasnt as interactive as it could have been. It just felt like forever to get across the sea, even with the swift sail. SS kind of brought this back with flying but I felt like I had more control. It was also more interactive as riding your Loftwing felt more like riding Epona. The Red Lion just jumped and threw bombs.
Controlling the wind just didnt feel as climactic as it could have been, and felt like a more dumbed down version of the Ocarina. The dungeons were alright, not bad by any means, but none of them really very memorable. The redeads were effing terrifying though. So while not the best game in my opinion it is definitely my favorite Toon Link game.

I'm ambivalent towards keeping the Oracles together or splitting them, I think it's valid either way if you perceive them as a single game or if you want to evaluate them separately. I like them almost equally so I just combine them, it's simpler

The Oracles are two completely different games, and combining them is really fucking weird imo.

Combing FS and FSA is also weird, but dory did kinda specifically say she was actually only really ranking FSA because FS is barely a game, so that's fine.

If I were doing write-ups, I'd only have two sentences to say about FS. Maybe three if I was feeling zesty.
