Has anyone else seen this movie??? It was freaking weird. Like I thought it was just some run of the mill comedy, but its kinda tough for me to nail down genre wise, and every 15-20 minutes the movie seemed like it did a total 180 degree turn and was about something totally different.
I think I loved it, but maybe I hated it. I havent decided. Really odd film. --- If they drag you through the mud, it doesnt change whats in your blood ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think most people were expecting a comedy and then they got that odd mess thrown at them causing the movie to fade into obscurity.

Yeah that movie had no idea wtf it wanted to be. It was like Im a light hearted comedy! No wait Im a dark comedy. Hold on Im a love story. No wait Im just a drama.

Yeah, it was....ok. Thought it was going to be a lot better/different than how it turned out. It was somewhat interesting though at least.

I didn't start to enjoy it until I'd gotten used to the tone-I expected it to be a much less subtle comedy, more in the vein of Innerspace (one of my all-time favourites) but once I got into the mood of the "playing it straight" humour, I thought it was really good. My partner didn't quite know how to feel about it and I think the expectations from advertising/trailers had a lot to do with it.

I really wanted to see it, but literally everyone I talked to who had seen seemed to think it was awful. I'll probably still check it out at some point.

My wife and I really liked this movie. It was a clever social commentary that didn't go over the top.
