They introduced the Batmobile as a core game mechanic (good idea)

....

Then added several hours of gameplay by making you shoot mindless robot drones in dull tank battles.

Also the story is a lot worse, characters are so dry and boring with no personality and map feels no different to city

Yeah, it's worth it to close out the story. It's a little too much "extra features that they're hyping up far more than necessary" (ie. the Batmobile), but it ends the Arkham series.

I enjoyed the map in Knight much more than I did in City. The batmobile is fun except in those sections where you have to platform with the batmobile. Both main and side stories aren't as interesting as City but the DLC with Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze, and such are interesting.

I like it. A lot of people complain about being forced to too much batmobile stuff, but personally I didnt think it was that overwhelming.

Yeah. I think its like one of the very first things you do.

The batmobile gets old really fast. Instead of doing cool stunts all the time, the majority of the time you're doing intricate movements for puzzles and battling a bunch of tanks every few minutes. There are some cool parts with the batmobile but it's few and far between. The Batman parts are great though but the Batmobile is basically the main character for half the game.

I must've really lucked out when I played Origins because I had exactly zero glitches occur the entire time I played. Other than that it just seemed like it was, y'know - City but it's snowy.

Cold, Cold Heart had a lot of graphical bugs, and it took forever for them to patch one of the grtes to access a CCTV hub in my experience.

As pointed out by others, not as good as Asylum or City, but much better than Origins.
I feel they concentrated too much of the game around the batmobile, and I didn't like the way it controlled.
EDIT: forgot to answer the original question. Yes, it's worth $10. I just checked, I played it only once and have 41 hours on it on Steam.

Arkham Knight was a great game turned into an above average game by the ridiculous amount of batmobile forced down your throat. You honestly can't go 20 minutes without getting forced into the damn car.

- Riddler's back....and now he makes you drive obstacle courses.
- Firefly's here.....and you have to chase him in the batmobile.
- You finally get to fight Deathstroke.....in a car-stealth fight. Yes it's as bad as it sounds.
- Oh sweet, a new area....that makes you solve puzzles using the batmobile and a winch.
- Etc Etc Etc

Yes, but they never did a game of the year /complete edition like most other big budget games. I see now your playing on pc, but on consoles getting the full experience meant paying more for the DLC then the game itself.

I'd say it's the worst of the Arkham series.

Asylum > Origins = City > Knight

I actually really enjoyed Origins, even slightly more than City. Knight, though, was just a massive disappointment. That being said it's definitely worth $10 (assuming it's the Premium Edition with the Season Pass).

EDIT: Also note that the PC version was a clusterfuck at launch. They've supposedly fixed some of it since then, but it never ended up being a solid port as far as I know.

I don't want to say clunky. You can drive it reasonably well but you have to get used to it first.

It's easily the best in the series. DLC is hit or miss, get it if you want.

I think the batmobile itself was cool. It's just the tank stuff that sucked. And they push that stuff so hard. Really don't know what they were thinking.

It's worth $100.
