The soda I drink the most is a craft root beer. It doesn't have any of the gunk that big-brand soda tends to.

I only drink a soda once a week, occasionally twice, to pair with certain meals. I'm only suggesting you do it to pair with a meal. Like how Europeans in general tend to drink alcohol.

Yeah, I'm in the exact same boat.

I'm not drinking it every day anymore though. Just whenever I go out for lunch to a place that serves it, which is like 3-4 times a week on average. More than I 'should', less than I 'could'.

Cherry Coke is literally the only other soda I drink anymore though, and that one's a 3-4 times a year guilty pleasure sort of thing.

Theyre all bad health wise, but Pepsi, root beer, cream soda, grape, orange and lemon lime/sprite/etc are great.

The only thing keeping me from drinking more of it is that I literally have to get it from gas stations, since I don't buy canned or bottled soda. Only when I do go inside a gas station for something other than a slurpee (basically never) or at a fast food place.

Also I forgot Squirt which is also really really good but I also only drink it very rarely because it's basically impossible to get outside of a grocery store.

I drink a can (12oz) of soda mostly every day and have for a very long time at dinner.
The only times I drink more is if I drink alcohol, it's the mixer. Or I am at a diner/fast food.

I drink a 44 ounce Coke Zero almost every day, and the days that I dont its because Ive drank 5 or 6 coffees and a Coke would upset my stomach.

I limit soda to once every couple of weeks. Longer if I can help it.

Will only drink if I am doing an abnormally large amount of walking or spending a lot of time in the sun otherwise.

I've been drinking less and less soda over the years. I think flavored sparkling water is a nice substitute but knowing my luck there's probably some hidden stuff in that that's slowly killing me.

That and regular water. One good thing about th summer heat is that water suddenly tastes delicious.

I'm a junkie for carbonation. Sparkling water with lime squeezed in is my go to, but I'll go for a Coke Zero from time to time. Hope aspartame isn't as bad as some people say, because that's pretty much the only soda I have these days.

it's very fortunate that i developed my aversion to soda early. i remember the first time in a while drinking some after being off of it and felt super gross.

i would almost rather start smoking cigarettes again because i at least miss cigs sometimes and didn't feel as gross as i did smoking than drinking soda.

Ill usually get a bottle of all natural soda and water it down with seltzer nowadays if I have to drink it.

I grew up drinking soda constantly and continued through most of college

Then one day after I'd moved out of the college dorm and it was no longer as convenient as a 3 minute walk at any hour of the night to obtain it, I stopped drinking it as often out of sheer laziness.

Then some time passed without me drinking it and suddenly, wouldn't you know it, it became gross all of a sudden.

Once I stopped I never missed it

Agreed. All carbonated beverages (Orange Soda, Sparkling Water, Beer) taste the same to me. I clearly have taste problems, but boo carbonated things.
