just bought a new crossover last week so here's my thoughts:

i would not get the nissan rouge imo. my wife & i test drove one and it felt like a really junky car. ive heard that nissan is the chrystler of japanese automakers and i can kind of see that.

the cr-v, on the other hand, is a really nice car and IMO is the best choice in the segment when you look at it from all perspectives. it has the most standard features in the entire segment at the mid-trim level (EX), great safety ratings, get MPG, a more upscale looking cabin (rogue's interior felt very plastic-y), competitively priced, etc.

you really cannot go wrong with the CR-V. it's the top rated automobile in the segment for a reason

Is it $100+ a month better though?

I cannot find a 36 month offer below $400 and it seems almost criminal compared to the $279 quote I got today for the Rogue.
