I've also done some peeking and found out that, in CS4, Joshua, Estelle, Schera and Renne are back, and most likely everyone else from the Sky games, but it'll be so long before it gets localized.

The wait for these two games is gonna kill me omg =(

I'm about 2/3 of the way through 2. I liked 1 quite a lot more but 2 is good. Do you know if 3 returns to school routine? No other spoilers please.

I'm deadass just biting the bullet and reading the entire summary of everything once Cold Steel 4 drops. I can't wait 2+ years to see this story end, plus I'll probably forget most of what happens by the time it is finally localized.
Still loving all the Ao/Zero and Sky character refrences in 3 and 4. Seems like way more crossovers than the first two Cold Steel games.

Yes. Trails in the Sky was an absolute chore to play, but ToCS is exactly what people have been wanting for years. A really good, really long, really NORMAL game.

Sadly, I sold my PS4. I just cant justify have $300 sitting there and collecting dust in my room. Its pretty clear that Japanese game developers are literally keeping the best shit for themselves. Why dont we stop sending them Western games until we get the good shit?

So, yeah. Japan has a release date for the fourth game before we even get the third. If it comes out for computer, then maybe Ill play it, but theyve literally taken all of my give-a-fuck away.

Believe me when I say Sky picks up a lot. It does start off slow though.

Do you realize just how long it takes to get these games translated? There's so much dialogue and XSEED would not want to half-ass a translation for a series like this.

Imo it's like Sky SC > CS2 > Sky FC > CS > 3rd.

Loved them all though.

I believe they did well enough, but I'm not positive. A PC version seems almost guaranteed either way.

The side content is honestly one aspect I would recommend against skipping.

I promise the payoff is worth it, but if it's too hard for you to trudge through, I guess you might as well skip. Cold Steel is the same way though.

Is there a guide telling which side quests are worth doing? Nier had that.

Honestly, 95% of them are worth doing because they expand on the lore, each NPC has their own story to tell etc.

The only ones that I think you could skip and not miss much of anything are any quests involving delivering ingredients. SC even has an optional quest that gives some backstory on Lila, for example.

Cold Steel is like Persona. It's not a really a game you rush. It's also not a game you beat quickly. It's quite time consuming.

Thats fine I love persona. Persona 3,4 and 5 are some of my fav games of all time.
