Can't chew to eat anything. They ache and one in particular has sharp pain if I bite down with even a bit of pressure. Got my teeth cleaned and fillings replaced about three hours ago, but I don't remember it ever being like this back when I got new fillings for cavities or w/e.

Didn't they give you an idea of when you can eat again? I imagine 3 hours isn't enough.

they said i can eat once the numbing goes away.

I mean it's probably pretty traumatic to the tooth.

Take some ibuprofen too. It should help with the pain.

depends on deepness of cavity in my experience

with some i could eat within an hour, no pain

others i'd have to take some ibuprofen and wait a few hours

It could be many reasons. The most likely reason is that they're hitting high. You may have to go back and get them polished down a bit more.
