The previous owner of the zero-turn I'm using removed the vacuum collector system, so when the clippings are funneled out of the deck they start clumping by the engine belts and exhaust manifold (instead of being sucked into the collector hopper)
I need to weld a skid plate or deflector onto the bottom of the chassis or something - otherwise I'm gonna have to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure I'm not on fire >_< ... Copied to Clipboard!

Well, it's not my lawn, it's a lawn. Side job for a friend of a friend sorta thing.
On the plus side, I really like this style of mower. I thought it'd be extremely cumbersome and difficult to control due to the reverser/steering lever placement and the "dead man's throttle", but once I got the hang of it I just put both the engine and drive throttles at full stick and attacked the yard like a NASCAR circuit. ... Yeah, zero turn mowers are the shit.
