starling egg died.

argonautweakend 08/28/18 12:35:19 PM #1:	Had a nest with one pop up outside my second story bathroom window. the egg always looked small and over the course of 1-2 weeks never seemed to grow. Never really saw its mother much either, though I have to open a noisy window to see it so it might have flew off when i did. It hatched but it looks like a garbled mess of fetus, nothing resembling a bird....im thinking it didnt make it. I also oddly enough see no traces of cracked shell in its nest, though i dont know how they hatch. kinda weird. i hope it makes it but it looks like a dead fetus. <cite>argonautweakend posted [p:907690532] in i think th... I figured it was dead because every time id see the egg no mother was around, and when it hatched i again saw no mother and it looked lifeless. turns out that even the slightest outside noise from me in the bathroom causes the mother to fly away, but sometimes when i leave the window open i see the mom sitting on it, and when its not there I can see it moving in an infantile state. so things look good. <cite>argonautweakend posted [p:907819385] in i think th...
