in until dawn choices you make do impact the main story in different ways but the final chapter is always the same no matter what you do

where as in heavy rain the choices you make during the main game usually dont change much at all
but the final chapter is always very different based on your choices

Heavy Rain is worth playing! I loved it when it came out. The game does have some plot holes, but I enjoyed the characters and the story. There are also some intense moments that can upset you if your squeemish (The third challenge).

Yeah, it's worth playing. It's the sort of game that was a great rental, and I managed to play it that way a few years ago.
The interaction is pretty clunky, and some things don't make much sense later on, but overall it's got a good pace and sense of mystery and drama. I'd put it in a similar bucket to something like The Da Vinci Code.

I'd say it's his only good game tbh. Indigo Prophecy fell off at one point, but Heavy Rain has a more consistent storyline. It's worth a playthrough Id say.

try to get madison to the final chapter alone
if you get everyone there alive she does almost nothing during the final chapter

but if she is there alone she gets the best fight with the killer

Great game but not worth 2 or 3 runs, its not that interesting once you know the story. Well maybe two runs, so you sure to keep everyone alive

The reason I say "or 3" really depends on how much detail you like out of a story and/or how much difference the decisions make. When you're in that third run you're going to feel fatigued no matter what though. Still a great game.
