Yep, Persona 5 came back in and went right back out and has become the first member of the jury. How can games be part of a jury? I don't know, they just can! That said, GSC went out, came right back in and hasn't been in danger since.

Also Persona 4 is far superior to 5, just sayin'.

Rule change will be either tomorrow or Sunday. THERE WILL BE NO ROUND THIS SATURDAY. I will be unavailable for the entire day. If others wish, we can pass on the Sunday round as well to allow more of you to enjoy the (American) holiday weekend without worry. I'll run that in a poll tomorrow.

I think I would have enjoyed 4 if I played it first, but I played it right after 5 and couldn't even finish it. It just felt like a watered down P5 and got boring pretty quickly, especially the dungeons

Then I lost my save and I have pretty much no desire to play it again. I don't think it's bad, but P5 kind of upgraded everything and I don't have any fond memories or nostalgia for it so I don't really have a reason to play it over 5 tbh

P5's gameplay is better.

P4's story, characters, setting, and intangibles are all way, way better than P5. And since I played P3, then P4, then P5... I can go back to any of them. I go back to P4 the most. I didn't even finish a second go of P5 because it just did nothing for me.

Overall, P4 is far and away the superior game, especially if we're talking Golden. And you're right: It's not even close.

Bold and incorrect.

P5's story found constant excuses to be lazy - it's like they didn't want the player to have fun with the cast. Meanwhile, P4's cast was always having fun - and the character development showed in the process. P5's cast seems... really dull and uninspired by comparison, especially because it takes until very late in the game for them to actually feel like your friends. There are too many relationships between cast members left unexplored. Also Haru just feels like she's just... there. P4 didn't have anyone like that!

There's no disputing that P4's cast is the best. P5's is just... boring. I really don't find the party's S-links anywhere near as compelling as most of P4's party (Rise and Kanji are among my favorites in the series).

The main cast, yes. Persona 5 instead has the best supporting cast of any game in the series, with very few being uninteresting. I'd say Moon and Devil are merely all right but some like Sun are candidates for the best social link in the series.
