Very mixed opinions on the twist. Perhaps tweaking it to be outside the poll would improve it. I really enjoyed it, myself - some of them were thrilling battles.
I will look into the Zestiria anime. That might save me time and agony. Thanks for the recs. And now, onto the jury phase of this contest! (What's with there being no poll?!) The rules: 1. I have heard some pretty strong criticisms, like "the game impedes itself with its mechanics, such as having to pay for fast travel" and "the plot suffers greatly because party members can only interact with Sorey, Rose, and Alicia" and also "the game gives Alicia a raw deal for absolutely no reason" (and I love Alicia's design). It sounds like the game takes a step back from Xillia in almost every single way. If the plot sucks even in the anime, I might not bother. Berseria will happen, though. It's going to be weird playing Tales on my PC monitor, but it's PS4 controller compatible at least! (I have Zestiria on PS3 - boy was that a mistake - and Berseria on PC thanks to a friend giving me his Humble Monthly code since he doesn't play JRPGs) Saving Persona 4.
