Sanders said that, not Trump. trump said the unemployment rate for African Americans are the lowest ever(in this speech at least), which is true. He did not say most of the jobs gained during this run up that led to this historically low rate came under the Obama administration.

Wrong, unemployment rate is categorized as an economic indicator, the very purpose of economic indicators are to give us snapshots of the overall economy. Meaning, even by itself, an indicator has value. GDP for instance is something else that can be used on its own and have value. You may not get Norway has a better standard of living than the US by looking at GDP, but you can understand the US is a much more advanced nation when you compare our GDP to some country in the third world. Sure indicators by itself doesnt explain the full picture, but to say they have no value by itself is misunderstanding the use of economic indicators.

Additionally, wage growth rates seem be similar what they had been under the Ibama administration:

In a made up theoretical world? Sure. How often does this actually happen in reality? Find me one example. But seriously, this what it has come too? To explain the insignificance of the unemployment rate you have to compare it to some thereotical world where the unemployment rate is 0% and everyone is in poverty? Can you at least show me examples of real life situations where a country had low unemployment rate but the economic situation was considered dire?

Did you have any thoughts on the wage growth rate graph or how much you value the strength of the USD in your analysis of how strong the economy is?

1) I never once said I had any opinion on whether the economy is strong or not. Youre trying to force me to an aha! moment and it wont work.

2) how is that not a valid scenario. I know tons of people that have jobs and are struggling. A good number of my friends even have 2 jobs. So yeah, people are still struggling even with unemployment low.

So again, Ill reiterate because apparently you cant understand that unemployment, by itself, means jack shit. With other numbers to help give it context, it means something.

Unemployment was trending downward anyway, so how much of it is because of Trump? Im guessing not as much as you think.
