EXP Share helps, but it's so boring and monotonous leveling up Pokemon. How is this entertaining to people?

People like diffetent video games? Who knew.

Out of any JRPGs you probably have to grind the least in Pokemon games, you don't really have to grind at all honestly. Just beat all the trainers in the area before you fight the Gym Leader and you'll be good.

I dont know how you guys are playing Pokemon but I always make sure mine are about 20 levels ahead of the trainers around me. And that takes grinding.

Nope, gotta find cool shit to waste my time on. Catching and releasing until I find the right natured Pokes, leveling up my main parties to 100, if I dont put hundreds of hours in a Pokemon game it feels like I rushed through it, and when I was younger felt like a waste of money.

Rushing through the Diamond story mode made me hate Pokemon games for a while. Then one day I just remembered why I loved Gold so much, it was because I had multiple Lv. 100 Dragonites and a Lv. 100 Feraligatr and Ampharos and Gyarados and whatever else I thought was cool and wanted to put time into.

Leveling up is fun for me. Different strokes for different folks really.
